Lord, last night I asked you to hold on to me.

Today, in the car, on the radio, You told me this is what it's like to be held.

I'm listening. It's hard. It hurts. I didn't get two minutes, much less 2 months. But I'm listening to you.

Please keep talking.

  4. Lori,

I have listened to this song so many times. I cry a river every time...

I thought of you last night as I was going out for dinner with my hubby. As he drove I looked at the moon, a thin crescent moon with a halo around it. That sight was beautiful...and then the song "somewhere over the Rainbow" began to play. I continued looking out the window and tears fell, as emotions ran through my head. Hubby just held my hand. I prayed...for you and for me.

I have FAITH. And FAITH will see us through.

    Continuing to pray for you.
    xoxo

  7. Lori, I'm so sorry! I hurt for your hurt, it just doesn't seem fair. I wish I had words of comfort, of solace, of peace, but I have prayers for you sweetie!! Prayers to make it past the darkest days and continue in praise! What a strong witness you are. Yes we question, yes we shake our fist, yes we plead, & get angry, but God hears our cries and our faithfulness for without faith we wouldn't even question!

Praying for you dear friend and thank you for continuing to think of my sweet O'Brien!!! I'm trying not to give up hope of a safe return home!!

Love to you sweet friend, lots of love!!!!
