My cute baby-daddy...

No major news today...other than I've scheduled our first OB appointment for the 21st of April--I'll be 9 weeks then. I still, STILL can't believe it! I'm feeling ok, tired, worried about every little twinge or feeling I feel, but overall...I'm A-OK!

I have to say that my husband is just adorable. As I sit on the couch watching tv, he has the laptop and is looking up pre-natal development on Wikipedia! "You're here..." he says, as he points to the different things that are happening on the different days.

He was doing something yesterday as I was sitting on the couch, watching tv. (Are you noticing a trend for me?) He came over, plopped himself down and turned his head to look at me. I asked him if he was tired, as we got up at 4:30 and he was my chauffeur for our blood work appointment. He said, "No...just looking at you and the babies."

Seriously. How cute is he? Although his new nickname for me (Baby Incubator) is not quite as appealing as something cutesie like "Kitten" or "Darling", I will gladly wear it!

  1. Lori, thanks for your encouragement on my blog! I love reading your blog when you were at the stages of IVF that I am going through. I am so happy for you and the possibility of twins - wouldn't that be just the best gift after waiting the all the years you have waiting? Thanks for sharing your journey with us!

  3. Awwww! How precious! Please make sure you add these cute little anecdotes to the babies' baby books. I am still waiting to hear how you told him y'all were pregnant.
As for the grammar errors, you are pregnant with two babies. Any and all errors from here on out are completely excused. You have two little parasites sucking your brain cells. Trust me, I know.

  4. Baby Incubator -- B.I., well we ALL know the letters that will follow as the hormones continue to rage, don't we? What a sweetie he is being!!! Take it for all you can now because when there are two little babies up all night, he most certainly won't be quite as pleasant. Take it from someone who is there (but only with one, of course!!)
