Don't feel like writing much but know many people are waiting. They saw one gestational sac. No fetal pole or heartbeat. A small yolk. I am 5w6d. I saw Matthew's heartbeat at 102 when I was 6w1d and Luke's at 88 when I was 6w2d. Both of those heartbeats were considered slow. There is nothing slow about Luke, let me be clear. All clinicians involved feel it's early. We return next week for definitive information. So... More waiting.
Super not fun.
Thanks everyone for thinking about us and praying for us.
Praying for you!!!!
ReplyDeleteLots of prayers being said for you and the family!
ReplyDeleteHang in there! I know you must be going crazy...we are praying for you.
ReplyDeletePraying here as well
ReplyDeleteWish I was there. I would do a weird dance, maybe with scarves, to make you uncomfortable ... Then start laughing ... And forget about all the waiting, even for 2 minutes and I would repeat odd things like that throughout the day until next week came and that beautiful baby flashes across the screen. I love you sweet friend and I will continue to pray for peace.
ReplyDeleteOh wow... I know how hard that week wait is. I went through this with my first pregnancy (before my daughter), but at least you have a yolk... At 5w,6d with mine, there was only an empty sac--no pole, hb or yolk. So that gives me hope that it is just early for you! Will be praying for you!
ReplyDeleteWish I could give you a hug through the Internet. Will continue to pray for you in your time of waiting.
ReplyDeleteHang in there...the SAME thing happened with my Button...he didn't show his little embryonic sac until 6 wks..and waited until almost seven to show a heartbeat. And I remember the anxiety was at an all time high because of my loss before.
ReplyDeletePRAYING it is just too early!!!!!
Praying for you! Sorry you didn't get better news today, but it isn't over yet!
ReplyDeleteLori - The waiting ... should be a bad word. Thinking of you and sending prayers ... XOXO, J
ReplyDeleteI was about five and a half weeks when I had my first ultrasound with the LO I'm carrying now. They just saw a sac and a week later there was the yolk and a teeny tiny fetal pole. The week wait is rough, but I agree, it might be too early to tell. I will be sending happy vibes your way!

ReplyDeleteThat is SO NOT FUN...all the mind bending, head chaos makes stress for one :( Our RE scanned me at 6w, yet another dear friend's RE scanned her at 5+ and her results were the same as yours. I'm sure many infertiles who've dealt with ART have told you the same thing. Doesn't make it any better though really, does it. Just know that we are all praying for you and I have great FAITH in what is to come, as I BELIEVE :)
ReplyDeleteBIG hugs and loads of prayers....lifting you up always!
xoxo
Prayers and holding hope ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed.... praying for you.
ReplyDeleteI didn't ever find a heart beat untill I was 7 or eight weeks along for all three of my babies.
I'm sure they'll find it the next time you you to the docs.
hugs

ReplyDeleteIt is yet early and I hope you get good news next week .
I was 7 weeks pregnant and the dr couldnt see any fetal pole but the week after there was a strong heart beat and today I have a 3 month old babyboy : )
The waiting is so not fun though .
Praying. Shared your story today with a nervous invitro mom. She was about to find out if it worked. She seemed more hopeful and calm after hearing your story. Keeping you guys close in thought and prayer.
